HAPPINESS IS NOT AN EMOTION BUT A DECISION
Hello once again to all our stakeholders, I believe you are all well despite this so called credit crunch; never mind, you are safe by God’s Grace. Thanks a million to you all for all the support over the years which have enabled us to deliver the best service that others imitate. The act of imitating our work is actually fun to us, why you ask; because our team enjoys creativity and seeing others imitating our ideas gives the satisfaction that we are indeed doing a good job, and in return we are motivated to progress to the next level in our creative world; so just relax and watch as we journey together into the future of Vintage which will be nothing less than FABULOUS.
Our heart felt sympathy goes to one of our stakeholder who recently lost her mother - The CEO of Boltex Textiles, we pray her soul rest in peace and may God comfort all in pain.
HAPPINESS - Is very common to hear if only I have the right partner, the right job, a good family relationship, a child, a big house, a successful business to mention but few then my life will be happy. Research has shown that nothing external can make you happy, happiness does not come from an outside source. Happiness is not based on what you receive. Happiness is based on who you are inside and what you accept about yourself. For example if the perfect partner who is going to make everything alright suddenly come your way, you surely will thank God for your new found angel and out of the blue you realise he is not perfect after all, he has some flaws, does not compliment nor romance you anymore; so that is your happiness thrown out of the window and you dump him for the wrong reason and embark on the new search for happiness. The same goes for the ' perfect job " that is no longer perfect, so you want to find another job that makes you happy and you quit forgetting that no matter where you work there will be people with different personality that you will dislike. This outsourcing for happiness is dangerous because it can not be obtained in another person and risky because you have an increase risk of being disappointed. It is wise to take the time to really look inward and ask yourself what you need from yourself to be happy.
This can be a painful exercise because the expectations are put on yourself and you no longer can make someone or something responsible for your happiness. Once you discover happiness inwardly this will last because your happiness is within. Even when tragedy strikes, you will be able to rise above and find some level of happiness again. Making yourself responsible for your happiness is safer and allows you to enjoy life and other people without any expectations.
To discover happiness within and retain it you need to fall in love with yourself. This can be obtained by truly accepting who you are regardless of your age, weight, education, income, single, married, etc. Stand in the mirror everyday and say “I love me as I am right now!" IT WORKS! Set goals. People who set goals and keep a record of what goals they have achieved feel more powerful and hopeful. Exercise at least 5 days a week. It secretes the happy hormones. Do not exercise for weight loss because it will become a discouraging act. Exercise to help balance out your emotions and your body will function better. Never have an expectation of someone that you know they can not meet. You are setting them up for failure in your eyes and you for sadness. Surround yourself with happy and positive people who have overcome tough times. These are the type of people who can bring you up and keep you in high spirit.
Do that which makes YOU happy; stop all the negative life wasting acts that ensure the happiness of others but you. Realise that life is a gift that has no duplicate; you have just this one opportunity so live it in happiness. From my heart, I wish you HAPPINESS and LOVE because you deserve it.
